Where there is life...There is hope

This blog will tell the story of the Amish boy "Little Samuel " who had to learn from a very early age to turn tragedies and trials into something positive. It is a true story of hope and inspiration that touches lives everywhere . Little Samuel faced more tragedies than most anyone and lives a life considered impossible by most people. The reader will be taken on the journey with Little Samuel as he faced cancer before his 3rd birthday and was taken by his dad and grandpa 3000 miles away from home for treatments. Little Samuel spends his 3rd birthday in Mexico undergoing cancer treatments. His cancer went into remission. But when he was 6 years old, his first year in school, his cancer returned. This time he was treated for it at a big local hospital. After his first chemotherapy treatment he got spinal meningitis and was unconscious before they could get him back to the hospital. When the parents got to the hospital the Dr told them he didn't think there was anything to do for their son. While speaking with them the Dr remembered a new medication but explained it had never been used for a condition as critical as little Samuels condition. He suggested doubling or maybe even triple the dosage and said if Little Samuel woke up within 24 they could possibly help him. On the hour 24 hours later Little Samuel gained consciousness. But the recovery was long with many chemotherapy treatments and herbs . By the time Little Samuel was 12 he had fully recovered and had caught up with his twin brother in strength and health. For once Little Samuel felt like he was given a new life. But than tragedy happened again . This time it was worse....
